Here comes the full version of Kanava, adding two new angles to the original idea – unfolding new shades and painting with sound.
The original by Backpullver carries a darker atmosphere: interwoven and layered melodies, while the rhythm rises steadily to the surface. Alex Banks’ remix leans more melodic, with a distinct UK club aesthetic – a full-force banger from start to finish.
Hittachi by Shamanez comes in more direct – raw rhythm, tightened tension and a clearly defined momentum.
No RAM, the collaboration between Tobias Schmidt and Backpullver, carries that DIY impulse and electronic roughness we associate with the early Tresor and Sativae school – a sound that doesn’t smooth itself out, but stays alive.

Alex Banks
Alex Banks is a producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist from Brighton, UK. Praised by BBC Radio 6, Mixmag, Clash and Uncut, he creates dancefloor-focused music with precise sound design and a warm human touch. His signature blends detail and emotion – rhythms influenced by broken/jungle and techno aesthetics, combined with melodies and textures that build cinematic tension.
Following his debut album Illuminate and tours across Europe (including performances alongside Moderat), Banks has also released on Mesh (Max Cooper’s label), continuing to develop an aesthetic that moves between the club and the experimental – a sound that is both functional and contemplative.

Backpullver
Backpullver is an industrial project influenced by EBM, darkwave and cinematic expanses. They play for the love of it – no pretension, no posing, no forgiveness. The serious part is left to those who understand. They’re from the other side.
They create “industrial music from the kitchen” – singing machines, mixers, mechanical noises and, above all, heavy beat crushers. Their sound is both intense and experimental, blending dark atmospheres with driving rhythms and raw energy.
SHAMANEZ
Shamanez is a producer and selector active in the underground electronic scene since the late 1990s. Part of the core of Z-Dimension, he builds a sound that balances raw techno, electro and experimental electronics with a clearly defined character.
His music carries industrial energy, minimalist discipline and an affinity for unconventional structures. In 2003, he represented Bulgaria at the Red Bull Music Academy in Cape Town, shaping his international perspective and DIY approach to production.
As both artist and curator, Shamanez consistently develops a scene outside the mainstream – through releases, events and educational formats where sound becomes a tool for thinking, movement and transformation.

Tobias Schmidt
Tobias Schmidt is a Scottish producer and live artist, active for over two decades and closely associated with the golden era of Tresor. Founder of Sativae Recordings, he has been a defining figure in the raw, hardware-driven school of techno and electro.
Together with artists like Neil Landstrumm, Cristian Vogel and Dave Tarrida, Schmidt helped shape a generation of forward-thinking electronic music – restless, experimental and unapologetically physical. This was the sound that deeply influenced the early years of Z-Dimension and remains part of our core aesthetic.
His productions blend DIY intensity, analogue grit and club functionality without ever losing edge or character.
